OUTLINE OF MAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

Special Promotions (eg. Euro 2004 Footbal) are non cancellable and non refundable.
Rates/Minimum Hire Periods:

Rates are per day in euros and include unlimited kilometres & VAT (Value Added Tax).

The minimum hire period is seven days, and fourteen days from 1st July to 31st August

Drivers/Licences
All drivers must be at least 26 years old and hold a full and current B class licence or an International Driving Licence, or a licence recognised by Spain from the country of origin (with translation where applicable), and valid for the type of vehicle being hired and must have held the licence for a minimum of two years.

Insurance
STANDARD INSURANCE:
Insurance is included in the daily rates shown The hirer is liable for the first € 600 (excluding VAT) of any damage caused in any one accident. A bond paid at the commencement of the hire is to cover this. The vehicle insurance is with the RACE (Royal Automobile Club of Spain).

Bond
All hirers must pay a bond of € 600 at the commencement of hire. This payment can be by credit card or travellers cheques. This bond is fully refundable if the vehicle has not been involved in an accident and is returned in a clean, refulled and undamaged condition with waste-water tank and toilet emptied, and is not returned late. Failure to do so can result in a charge being made.

General Conditions
The Company reserve the right to make deductions over and above the bond for any of, or multiples of the following:

Missing or damaged equipment. The vehicle is not returned in a clean condition. The toilet is not emptied and chemically recharged. The fuel tank is not refilled.

The company regrets that it is unable to make any refunds for vehicles returned before the due date, or unused rental days.

In the event of mechanical failure or major accident rendering the vehicle unserviceable and no alternative vehicle is available, liability will only be to refund those actual lost rental days.

Hired vehicles operated outside the terms on the rental agreement have no insurance cover and the hirer is liable for the entire cost of damage.

Hirers are strongly advised to take out personal travel insurance in your home country to cover personal injury, medical expenses and personal property. If you reside in an EU member country you are also advised to take with you an E111 form which may help defer some medical costs where governments have made reciprocal arrangements.

Deposit
A deposit of 30% of the total hire cost is payable to secure a booking. This is calculated on 30% of the total daily hire tariff. The full balance is required a minimum of 35 days before the commencement of the hire. If the balance is paid by cheque it must be received 45 days prior to the commencement of the hire to allow time for clearance.

The bond, insurances and any additional equipment must be paid for in full prior to commencement of the hire.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees, prior to pick-up are as follows:

35 days and over: loss of deposit

Less than 35 days 100% of the total cost
For the purpose of cancellation the charge will exclude the bond, insurance or other options.

NB Although every effort is made to ensure prices are correct, very occasionally they may be subject to change without notice. In this unlikely event you will be notified of any rental changes in our reservation confirmation.
